Also known as Selective Pallet Rack or Selective Rack, this is the most common version of pallet storage. The term "selective" is used because every single pallet space in a pallet rack system is accessible by forklift, and each pallet can be “selected” or loaded to or from a specific location. This racking system can be easily assembled and disassembled as needed. If you have a warehouse, efficient and organized, storage is essential to the productivity and profitability of your business. We at BuyUsedRacks have an assortment of warehouse pallet rack systems to help get your products off the floor onto secure storage and your work environment flowing smoothly. Our used pallet racks are inspected and refurbished as necessary to assure top-quality and reliability for years to come. For more information on the different types of standard pallet rack we offer or to request a quote, please call 727-319-2300.

BuyUsedRacks also offers a wide selection of used Structural/Heavy Duty Pallet Racks. When purchasing Structural or Heavy-Duty Pallet Racks, it is important to keep in mind how the pallet rack will be used. Structural Pallet racking requirements can vary by geographical location and may be required in certain areas with seismic activity. Structural pallet rack is fabricated differently than standard Pallet Rack. The structural members are formed by pouring the steel into a solid mold so that the rack frame is not bent into position like roll-formed or other types of pallet rack. Structural pallet rack is formed this way to ensure its strength and durability under heavy use. Structural pallet rack is considered to be the strongest and most durable in the industry.

For this reason, it is the racking system of choice for busy distribution centers as well as the refrigerated goods industry and the construction materials industry. If you need a durable, reliable, top-quality structural pallet rack for your warehouse, restaurant, distribution center or the like, BuyUsedRacks has what you need. Our structural pallet rack inventory can withstand abuse from forklifts and the bangs, dents and dings from everyday warehouse and industrial use. For more information on the different types of structural pallet rack we offer or to request a quote, please call 727-319-2300.

High-density storage option that allows FIFO (First In First Out) inventory storage of pallet sized shipping and storage units. For flow storage of smaller hand held items visit our “Flow Rack” section.

Similar to Push Back Racking, except in this case, loads are deposited on one side and flow to the other. It’s like a conveyor within a rack structure. A forklift places a pallet into the pallet rack. Then a series of rollers and brakes guide the pallet down the lane until the pallet is stopped by another pallet or the front of the rack. When unloading a pallet from the rack, a forklift comes to the front of the rack, removes the first available pallet, and all remaining pallets slide forward. Pallet Flow Racks achieve the same storage density as Drive Thru Racking, but are more convenient and safer, as forklifts do not need to enter the rack to place or retrieve pallets. One of the greatest advantages of pallet flow rack over pushback and static pallet racking is that flow rack allows for more storage capacity. While pushback rack may be able to store approximately 5 pallets deep, a pallet flow system will allow as many as 10-15 pallets deep. This racking system can be easily assembled and disassembled as needed. If you have a warehouse, efficient and organized storage is essential to the productivity and profitability of your business.

At BuyUsedRacks we have a wide assortment of warehouse pallet flow racking systems to help get your products off the floor onto secure storage and your work environment flowing smoothly. Our used pallet flow racks are inspected and refurbished as necessary to assure top-quality and reliability for years to come. For more information on the different types of pallet flow rack we offer or to request a quote, please call 727-319-2300.

Almost any static pallet rack system can be retrofitted into a pallet rack flow system at a fraction of the cost of pushback rack, pallet flow or other gravity fed systems. This is possible because the pallet flow rails drop into place using the existing racking frame as their support structure. Lanes of pallet flow rails have built-in 'brakes' that help to slow the pallets down as they glide down the lane. One of the greatest advantages of pallet flow rack over pushback and static pallet racking is that flow rack allows for more storage capacity. While pushback rack may be able to store approximately 5 pallets deep, a pallet flow system will allow as many as 10-15 pallets deep.

At BuyUsedRacks we have the right Pallet Flow Rail to retrofit your existing racking system to help increase your storage capacity and your work environment flowing more smoothly. For more information on the different types Pallet Flow Rail we offer or to request a quote, please call 727-319-2300.

Used Cantilever Racks are the perfect storage system for all of your longer, non-pallet sized items. One of the advantages of cantilever racking is its versatility. Arms can be added, subtracted, and adjusted to different levels based on your changing needs. The arms are supported on only one side of the rack and cantilever out. Fork truck operator can insert long materials that will hang over the edges of each cantilever rack support arm. Typically used for large industrial materials, Cantilever racks are great for a warehouse, lumber yard or manufacturing facility.

Easily store many long bulky items including:

  • Bars, pipes, and tubes.
  • Lumber, drywall, and plywood.
  • Sheet flooring and carpet.
  • Other building materials.

BuyUsedRacks offers a wide variety of Used Cantilever Rack at excellent prices to help get your products off the floor onto secure storage and your work environment flowing smoothly. Manufactured by Unex, Span-Track can be added to any new or existing pallet rack to create a gravity fed/flow system. Typically, this type of flow track can be installed using a specialized clip that fits on the top of your existing beams. The loads are supported on an incline without the need for intermediate shelf supports and enable gravity-based movement, thus creating a FIFO (first in-first out) system.

Super flexibility – simply pick up track to easily rearrange/re-slot Span-Track to match SKU’s.

High capacity/durability – Span-Track takes the abuse of active warehouses and assembly plants. Galvanized steel side channels, 3/4" diameter tempered aluminum full width rollers and full length 3/16" steel axles handle loads up to 50 lbs. per ft.

Unrivaled Flow - Full-width rollers for total carton support -300% more product contact than plastic wheel - eliminate hang-ups, increase throughput.

Allows for high-density LIFO (last-in, first-out) storage of pallets or crates. Pallets are placed by forklift on nested carts riding on inclined rails, or rollers, where it remains until it is "pushed back" by subsequent pallet loading. When unloading , the forklift takes out the front pallet, allowing the pallets behind it to roll forward, where they remain until the rack is unloaded or another pallet is placed into the rack. Great high-density storage option, because they fill your space with product, not aisles. Where standard "selective" pallet rack only allows for pallets to go a single pallet-deep, Pushback rack systems lets you store pallets 2 to 5 deep. This is helpful if you have several pallets of the same item in inventory at one time.

BuyUsedRacks offers a wide variety of Used Push-Back Pallet Rack at excellent prices to help get your products off the floor onto secure storage and your work environment flowing smoothly. Our used push back racks are inspected and refurbished as necessary to assure top-quality and reliability for years to come. Drive-in/Drive-thru Racking system is a high-density storage option that is cost effective and stores significantly more material than standard pallet racking. Forklifts enter into the structure to place and remove materials. Because forklifts drive into the rack itself, the racks can be subject to more abuse than other types of rack systems. If the facility requires FIFO (first in first out) inventory management, you will most likely want to configure this type of rack for drive-thru access. Companies not concerned with FIFO access can choose to put the rack against the wall, which creates a drive-in system. Drive- in pallet racks require less space, fewer aisles, and can greatly increase the space available in smaller warehouses. Drive-in pallet rack systems also work well with first-in first-out inventory systems where the same item is continually pulled. Cold storage is popular application for drive-in rack since freezer space is usually limited.

BuyUsedRacks offers a wide variety of Used Drive-In/Drive-Thru Racks at excellent prices to help get your products off the floor onto secure storage and your work environment flowing smoothly. Our used drive-in/drive-thru racks are inspected and refurbished as necessary to assure top-quality and reliability for years to come.

Sometimes called Carton Flow or Gravity Flow Racks, these are generally hand loaded and unloaded. This flow rack system is used to provide a FIFO (first-in, first-out) method for accessing smaller items. Cartons or totes are placed in the flow rack from the rear, then rolldown a bed of rollers until it is stopped by the front of the rack or by another box. Dividers can be used to separate the flow rack into rows. The flow rack dividers prevent boxes from overlapping. Flow racks can store multiple units deep, therefore achieving great high-density as well as dynamic storage. When specifying a flow rack system, it is important to know the size of cartons that will be used, the weight of those cartons, and how much storage surface area is needed.

At BuyUsedRacks we have a wide assortment of Used Flow Rack systems to help get your products off the floor onto secure storage and your work environment flowing smoothly. Our used flow racks are inspected and refurbished as necessary to assure top-quality and reliability for years to come.

Sometimes called portable rack, tier rack, or nestable rack, this racking system is used in manufacturing, warehousing, shipping, cold storage, carpet warehouses, railcar racking, tire storage and many more applications. A stack rack has a metal, pallet-style base with either uprights or an upright frame assembly. When the stack rack uprights are separate, they can generally be removed from the base and placed horizontally, which creates a compact storage method when the racks are empty or are being shipped.

Some stack racks do not have removable posts or uprights, but instead, have a frame that allows compatible racks to be stacked in a staggered configuration. This is a space and shipping cost savings approach, because many racks can be nested within each other which decreases use of vertical storage space. Stack rack decking can include open frame, plywood, steel and wire mesh/expanded metal. Stack racks can be configured to handle many items and can be used in conjunction with bulk bags, other bulk storage options and also work well to hold pipes or other long or varying length items.

At BuyUsedRacks we have a wide assortment of Used Stack Rack systems to help get your products off the floor onto secure storage and your work environment flowing smoothly. Our used stack racks are inspected and refurbished as necessary to assure top-quality and reliability for years to come.
